DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE STUDY

  • The subject of this study is hematological analyzers with differentiation of leukocytes in 3/4 or 5 populations. Analyzers without leukocyte differentiation were not included (with the exception of the Abacus Junior 30 ND model). POC analyzers measuring individual parameters, for example, hemoglobin, were also not the subject of this study. In addition, automated digital microscopy complexes were not included in the consideration.

The research period covers 4 years - from 2014 to 2017.

The study is based on a detailed analysis of the RF Customs Database and the Register of Government Contracts concluded by customers (government health institutions) following the placement of orders for the supply of hematological analyzers.

The market analysis was preceded by the compilation of a database of hematology analyzers (by model) indicating the key characteristics of the equipment. Each customs declaration was detailed according to the models of the supplied analyzers, which allowed further analysis of the market by type of equipment and its technical characteristics.
